505 Racing receives a number of requests about to become a 505 Racing team rider each season.
Our normal recruiting process is to look at prospective expert level riders in the central New Mexico area two times per year. Once while at at the Grand Nationals in Tulsa Oklahoma & once at the Spring National held at Duke City BMX in Albuquerque.
505 Racing does not sponsor riders, each team rider is responsible for participating in team fundraising efforts, team meetings and training.
If you are a central New Mexico expert level rider and would like to submit your information to 505 Racing for consideration the following steps are to be taken.
#1. Exhibit professional level sportsmanship
#2. The rider (not the parent) should submit in person a rider resume and educational grade standings to the
505 racing team President.
#3. The rider should be prepared to discuss their goals and reasons why they should be considered for the
505 Racing team.
505 Racing is a nationally focused trophy race team.
Not all riders that submit information to 505 Racing for consideration are accepted.
